Saturn enters Scorpio — 20 Jun 2017
Saturn moves from Sagittarius into Scorpio — a water, fixed sign: intense, secretive, transformative. Saturn disciplines, delays and tests — structural reform, austerity, labour issues and the slow settling of old problems. In its new sign these themes take on that sign's character. The effect in each country depends on which house of its chart Scorpio falls in.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does an eclipse or transit affect a country?
The sign it falls in becomes a house of each country's foundation chart (counting from that country's rising sign). The areas governed by that house — for example the 10th house for government or the 6th for the armed forces and public health — are the ones the event touches.
